Tucked away on the seventh floor of the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Austin is the newest local speakeasy, Room 725 Champagne & Caviar, where patrons can sip and savor beginning September 16, 2022. An elegant ambiance complemented by live piano music and inviting seating make this the perfect lounge for a luxurious and somewhat private gathering to enjoy cocktails and delicacies.

Champagne and caviar are the main focus on-menu here, however, those seeking alternative options can still enjoy ordering during a visit to this luxe location. Aside from choosing to sip the finest selection of Champagne by the glass or bottle, guests can select special flights which feature Taittinger, Brut La Francaise, Billecart-Salmon, and more. Plus, drink lovers in the mood for a craft cocktail can choose from a signature list of classic libations, including the standout Old Fashioned, Julep, French 75, Martini, and more.

“Room 725 is delighted to provide a new, uniquely luxurious experience in Austin through our curated selection,” said Arun Malik, Director of Food & Beverage at Fairmont Austin. “From connoisseurs to those that are simply curious or seeking to add to their culinary repertoire, all can enjoy the bespoke element of this offering.”

Cigar lovers will be poised to know this venue offers Pre-Embargo Cuban cigars (all sourced from a single collection) through a humidor near the entrance. All of these cigars are “clear Havana’s” — meaning that they are made of Cuban tobacco, but rolled in the United States. Every cigar in this unique assortment dates back prior to The Cuban Trade Embargo (imposed February 1962), and some have been encased for more than 100 years.

Those interested in venturing to the impressive Room 725 Champagne & Caviar for a memorable experience (whether it’s for a celebration, special occasion, or just to add a little excitement to your week), can do so on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:00-11:00 p.m. by booking a reservation via Open Table.
